United Premier Gold Status Terms & Activation Rules

Eligible members may apply for a status match to Premier Gold. The activation of the status is subject to the following conditions:

• Immediate Activation:
  • Members with a recorded United Airlines flight within the past 30 days will have their Premier Gold status activated immediately upon successful approval of the status match.
• Post-Flight Activation:
  • Members without a United Airlines flight in the past 30 days must complete one qualifying United flight within 90 days of approval to activate their status.
    A flight taken within the past 30 days or scheduled within the next 90 days qualifies as the activation flight.
• Service Description:
  • Upon completing the required activation flight, successful applicants will receive United Premier Gold status (including Star Alliance Gold benefits), typically within 1 to 7 days.
