Now, last year, I completed the upgrade of the GHA Discovery Titanium membership. At that time, I was quite torn. My one-year real experience with the Titanium membership

1. Room type upgrade: There is a 90% chance that I will be satisfied.

In the past year, I have stayed at hotels under GHA about 20 times, and basically over 90% of my stays were upgraded to rooms. Among them, the one that impressed me the most was when I was traveling in Singapore, I stayed at Pan Pacific Singapore. Over a year, I remember I have probably spent more than 500 US dollars, which is approximately equal to 3,500 RMB. Once, the night I stayed at the Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok, I spent 80 dollars. I remember that I only paid half of the normal room rate that night at that time. This astonishing value makes me feel extremely happy and satisfied. Because I made use of the exchange of D$, it helped me recover the cost well, thus making this state more cost-effective.

3. Late check-out at 4 p.m

5. Courtesy and Service: Details Touch the Heart

I think this is precisely the unique charm of GHA Discovery: In fact, it doesn’t build benefits by accumulating cold points. But through meticulous service details, truly make Titanium members feel respected and valued. Why do I say so? During my one-year stay as a Titanium member, many moments still leave a deep impression on me. This distinction is not about ostentatious extravagance and waste. But rather a sense of considerate and personalized respect. For example:

At the Anantara Hotel in ABU Dhabi, I received a handwritten welcome card and an exquisite fruit platter. It was late at night when I arrived. This small gesture made me feel “cared for”.

At the Tivoli Hotel in Dubai, what greeted me was not a cold room card but a specially prepared welcome drink. The atmosphere was like being back at a familiar friend’s home.

At the Kempinski Hotel in Jakarta, I originally booked a standard room. But the front desk directly upgraded me to a high-floor room with an executive lounge. For three whole days, I enjoyed free breakfast, afternoon tea, and Happy Hour with a few drinks.

Although these might seem like insignificant little actions to them, for me, they are truly heartwarming moments. What many people are worried about is! Is it too difficult for GHA Discovery to avoid relegation?

I stayed for about 26 nights this year, covering over a dozen brands. Although it wasn’t an easy “effortless win”, with the help of some promotional activities. such as “stay for 2 nights and count as 3 nights” and “Double brand Challenge”, the pressure was much smaller than I had imagined. But then again, if you want to save trouble and experience the “value” brought by the GHA Discovery Titanium membership immediately. • If you usually stay there only a few times a year, mostly in China (GHA has a relatively small presence in China).
• The requirements for service and upgrade are not high; only the cost is low, and the speed is fast
• Unable to promote the brand or the number of nights in conjunction with the promotional activities
