Who is eligible for the Marriott MMP Rate?

Marriott imposes stringent eligibility criteria for Marriott Explore or Marriott MMP Rate.

Marriott associates are allowed to reserve most of 2 rooms per night, for personal travel. Immediate family members of associates – including spouses, domestic partners, parents, in-laws, siblings. and children – can reserve most of 1 room per night, for personal travel. The total number of rooms booked by associates cannot exceed 2 per hotel. For instance, you cannot reserve 2 rooms for yourself on the same date and more room for your parents at the same hotel.

How to book a room with a Marriott MMP Code

The booking process is very easy. You’ll just need to use the Marriott “MMP” Code when booking the employee rate directly on Marriott’s website.

Here’s a quick example to show you how to book the rate and what level of discount you can expect.

• 1. Go to Marriott’s booking site
• 2. Click on the “Find & Reserve” tab on the upper left portion of the page
• 3. Enter the location you are traveling to and the travel dates
• 4. Click on the Special Rates Drop Down
• 5. Click the “Corporate/Promo/SET#” button and enter “MMP” in the “Enter Code” box
• 6. Enter the destination and dates you want to travel then hit “Find Hotels”

Important Notice: 

• We will complete and submit your application within 1–2 business days. (As of April 15, 2026, the traditional Marriott MMP Form is no longer used. Eligibility is now processed through Marriott’s new digital account-linking system.)
• The new digital account-linking authorization is valid for two months from the date it is activated.
• We require your full legal name (first and last name) to complete the application. Please include it in the order notes or email it to info@viphotelflights.com.
• Please do not contact or complain to the hotel regarding your application or eligibility.
• The authorization is for the registered account holder only and is non-transferable.
• At check-in, you must present a valid government-issued photo ID along with any other required documentation.
• Once your application has been successfully processed, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
• Not all Marriott hotels participate in or offer MMP (Explore) rates, and availability is subject to each hotel’s inventory.

1. What does MMP mean for Marriott?

Marriott MMP Rate(Marriott Friends And Family Rate) is a discount rate program for Marriott employees. Eligible individual Marriott employees can book participating Marriott hotels at discounted rates through the Marriott Global Source or MMP website. Prices vary according to location and availability.

2. Can Marriott manually change Rate code MMP?

In general, Marriott employees cannot change the rate code MMP. , these rate codes are identified by the system and are only available to eligible employees. If you are a Marriott employee and need help. it is recommended that you contact your supervisor or the appropriate department for more information and support.

3. How long after order can I use Marriott Employee Discount /Marriott MMP Rate?
